BaliSpirit Festival is one of the most acclaimed yoga, music, and devotional arts festivals in the world. Hosted at the exceptional Yoga Barn in the heart of Ubud, BaliSpirit Festival is an event that has loyal attendees making the annual pilgrimage from all corners of the globe.
It has been confirmed that BaliSpirit Festival 2026 will once again be held at The Yoga Barn, with the festival site expanding into the gardens of the Puri Padi Hotel too.
The festival will be held from 15th to 19th, 2026, and once again promises to be a global celebration of yoga, dance, music, and healing.

The mission and vision of BaliSpirit Festival have been clear from day one, and it’s felt deeply within every element of the festival, which only grows in potency year after year.
The team shares, “Our mission is to maintain this annual event so that it can achieve its number one goal: to catalyse infinite potential within each individual who walks through our festival gates. In doing so, we follow our vision: to inspire a generation of change makers, leading to positive change in our local communities, and thereby, around the world.”
The founders and BaliSpirit Festival team explain, “The goal of the BaliSpirit Festival is to awaken and nourish each individual’s potential for positive change within, leading to positive change in our homes, in our communities, and around the world.”
Adding “Through the beneficial and inspirational traditions of Yoga, Dance, and Music, the BaliSpirit Festival embodies the Balinese Hindu concept of Tri Hita Karana: living in harmony with our spiritual, social, and natural environments.”
The idea for the festival was born back in 2008, with founders Kadek Gunarta and Meg Pappenhiem envisioning creating “a global community gathering of cultures coming together in Bali for inspiration to make the world a better place” in light of the Bali Bombings of 2002 and 2005.
Gunarta and Pappenhiem are also the co-founders of The Yoga Barn, along with Charley Patton.
The festival is more than an event for attendees, but a catalyst for change in Bali and Indonesia more broadly. The co-founders and BaliSpirit team have always emphasised how this event must be used for the highest good of all.
As the festival explains, “Since 2010, the BaliSpirit Festival has worked alongside partner organizations in Bali, as well as international yoga teachers and musicians, to raise more than USD $200,000 for the Festival’s annual Karma (Giving Back) outreach initiatives. Funds have contributed to children’s programs, multicultural education & performances, health clinics, HIV & AIDS awareness, and environmental protection.”
