BVGO Actions: Rethinking How We Communicate, Collaborate, and Act
The Challenge: Good Ideas Were Getting Lost in the Feed
At Bukit Vista, we often rely on structured updates to help partners stay informed about their properties. These updates, which we call “Actions,” include operational improvements, project highlights, and new initiatives. But as the number of properties and activities grew, our feed became increasingly overwhelming. Important content was often buried beneath newer posts, and high-impact ideas were difficult to distinguish. Comments lacked proper timestamps, and replies didn’t notify the intended recipients—making two-way communication unreliable. Even simple things, like viewing images, became a challenge due to the lack of a zoom feature.
What was meant to be a communication tool was starting to hinder clarity instead of enhancing it.That’s when the team took action—literally.

Rebuilding BVGO Actions: Where Product Meets Empathy
How do we make it easier to notice what matters? How do we mimic the familiarity of social media to encourage more interaction?
Here’s what they delivered: users can now navigate Actions more intuitively by swiping up to view older entries and swiping down to see the latest updates. Pinch-to-zoom functionality was added to all images and attachments, finally making it possible to examine visual content in detail. Comment sections were upgraded with clear timestamps and real-time notifications, making communication more timely and responsive. Behind the scenes, backend optimizations brought loading time down to just 0.2 seconds, and the feature was made fully accessible to all roles—owners, managers, and staff alike.
