One of Bali’s most popular museums has just received a major award. The Pasifka Museum has won the prestigious TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best 2026 award.
Located in Nusa Dua, the museum is home to a stunning collection of art and cultural artifacts from across the Asia Pacific region.

For tourists seeking art, culture, and heritage during their time in Bali, the Pasifika Museum is a great place to start.
It’s not only us here at The Bali Sun that think this, but a whole host of real travellers too, whose reviews have helped put Pasifika Museum in the Top 1% of Attractions Worldwide in the last 12 months.
This is not the first time the museum has been awarded with such esteem. The Pasifika Museum has something of a track record.
The museum won the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best in 2022, 2023, and 2024, making it one of the most consistent arts and cultural institutions at the international level.
Missing out in 2025 was a blow, but to be back in the 1% club in 2026 is a real sign that the team behind the attraction is committed to achieving and sustaining excellence.
The museum is not only one of Bali’s leading cultural centres but is also regarded as a leading art museum in Southeast Asia. The Pasifika Museum is known for providing experiences for visits that are both entertaining and educational; a visit helps enrich visitors’ insights into the hugely diverse art and culture of the Asia Pacific region.
The museum can be found in the heart of The ITDC Nusa Dua and houses over 600 works of art from all across the Asia Pacific region. Permanent collections include works by masters such as Walter Spies, Rudolf Bonnet, Arie Smit, Theo Meier, Antonio Blanco, and other influential artists who have shaped the history of Balinese art for international audiences.
Speaking to the reports, the Operational Director of the Pasifika Museum, Laksmi Sugiri, expressed his appreciation for the award. “We are very honored to receive the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best 2026. This award is very special because it comes from the experiences and reviews of visitors.”
He added, “This is the result of collaborative efforts. We will remain committed to providing an internationally recognized museum experience that is inspiring and relevant for future generations.”

Fans of the Pasifika Museum can be found all around Indonesia, including the country’s Minister of Tourism, Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, who told reporters how the Pasifika Museum is a must-visit cultural destination in Bali.
She shared, “My experience at the Pasifika Museum was extraordinary. The collection includes over 600 works of art from 200 artists and 25 countries. It’s well worth a visit, especially during the holiday season.”
The Pasifika Museum is open Monday to Sunday, from 10 am to 6 pm. Tourists always need longer than they think to explore all the exhibits, so be sure to leave plenty of time to explore; typically, 2-3 hours.

Last admission is at 5 pm. Here at The Bali Sun, we highly recommend booking a couple of workshops to really make the most of a visit, and to add a more immersive experience to an arts and culture day trip in Bali.
There are multiple ticking options available, starting at IDR 110,000 for international visitors; guided tours with entry are charged at IDR 220,000.

It is not only Bali’s Pasifika Museum that is celebrating this month, but ARMA Museum up in Ubud too. The Agung Rai Museum of Art, aka the ARMA, is celebrating thirty years of both preserving and pioneering art and culture in Bali.
There will be plenty of special events happening throughout the rest of 2026, so be sure to add both ARMA and Pasifika Museum to your upcoming Bali travel itinerary.
