Bali has taken development to the next level. As the peak travel season approaches in Bali, Nuanu Creative City is making the space more accessible and more enjoyable for visitors. Nuanu Park is a new public destination where nature, art, culture, and family experiences all come together.
The park will be opened this summer, and will be the first point of arrival for many of the city’s visitors. Nuanu has said that the new parkland is designed to make the creative hub a “more open and accessible to the public, inviting people to enter the creative city through exploration, learning, play, and shared experiences.”
Speaking to reporters, Nuanu’s CEO, Lev Kroll, shared, “Nuanu Park is an important step in opening Nuanu up to more people.”
Adding “As the ecosystem grows, we want the first experience of Nuanu to feel accessible and connected to daily life, not closed off or overly formal. It should give people a clear way to enter, spend time, and slowly understand what Nuanu is becoming.”
“For us, public infrastructure like this is just as important as larger cultural or hospitality projects, because it gives people a reason to return and build a real relationship with the place.”
Nuanu has explained that ”Once launched, Nuanu Park is expected to play an important role in shaping public engagement with Nuanu Creative City.”
“Through outdoor activities, masterclasses, family-centred experiences, cultural discovery, dog-friendly spaces, and accessible public areas, the park will offer visitors a new way to experience Nuanu from the moment they arrive.”
While the Nuanu Park is set to be launched in a few weeks, there are already more than enough reasons to visit Nuanu Creative City.
From 3rd June to 12th July 2026, Nuanu Creative City will be proudly hosting the return of Bali’s original and only international photography festival, FOTO Bali Festival.
The FOTO Bali Festival is presented in partnership with Nuanu Creative City and has the event’s backing of the national tourism board, Wonderful Indonesia.
During a recent visit, Ni Made Ayu Marthini, Deputy for Marketing at the Ministry of Tourism, told reporters, “Wonderful Indonesia supports initiatives that strengthen Indonesia’s creative ecosystem and cultural dialogue.
FOTO Bali Festival 2026 represents how art, photography, and community can come together to create meaningful cultural conversations rooted in Bali.”
In 2026, the event is gaining traction, receiving nearly 700 submissions from photographers from 80 countries. The festival will feature work from 36 selected artists who hail from 24 different countries, with the theme ‘Afterimage’, and the exhibition has been curated by Kurniadi Widodo and Putu Sridinari.
FOTO Bali Festival 2026 Exhibition tickets are available online now at the Nuanu website. One-day access tickets start at IDR 50,000 and include entry to Nuanu.
