Lombok, Indonesia — November 5, 2025 —
Kinnara.Asia has officially been bought out of the Marina Bay City Lombok project, a multi-billion-dollar coastal city development now under the full ownership and management of Lux Property Developments, part of the Lux Projects Bali group led by Australian businessman and media founder Jamie McIntyre.
The buyout marks the conclusion of Kinnara’s involvement in the ambitious Marina Bay City project and represents a new chapter as Lux consolidates 100 percent control to fast-track development across the master-planned city.

A Successful Collaboration Reaches Its Next Phase
Kinnara.Asia and Lux Projects Bali initially joined forces through a joint venture, Marina Bay Investments, to create what has become Indonesia’s most talked-about planned city. The partnership combined Kinnara’s international brand and marketing expertise with Lux’s on-the-ground experience in large-scale resort and residential construction.
According to Kinnara, its role in establishing the project’s international profile has now been fulfilled. “Kinnara’s focus was to establish and globally position the joint venture’s projects as world-class investment and lifestyle opportunities,” said Adrian Campbell, Chief Executive Officer of Kinnara Capital. “That mission has been achieved, and this transition reflects a natural next phase as Lux Property Developments continues to advance the project’s delivery and long-term vision.”
With Lux Projects now in full control, the company will oversee all aspects of Marina Bay City’s expansion — including construction of its convention centre, sports precinct, marina, luxury villas, wellness retreats, and sustainable tourism infrastructure designed to transform South Lombok into a global destination.

Kinnara to Refocus on Broader Regional Ventures
Following the divestment, Kinnara.Asia will continue to pursue other projects across Indonesia through its development arm, Kinnara Capital, with a renewed focus on sustainable, community-driven investments. The company is reportedly finalising new ventures in Lombok and Bali aligned with its long-term vision of responsible tourism and regional growth.

Lux Projects Strengthens Position as a Leading Developer in Indonesia
With full control now secured, Lux Property Developments will manage all future development, sales, and brand operations for Marina Bay City Lombok, ensuring buyers and investors interact exclusively with Lux-controlled entities.
The company reiterated that Kinnara.Asia and its representatives are no longer involved in Marina Bay City, its management, or its affiliated companies. Buyers and agents are advised to direct all communications and payments exclusively to the official Lux and Marina Bay City channels:
