Housekeeper (HK) Bounty Program: Recognizing the Frontlines

Hi, I’m Rama, HR Operations and Engagement at Bukit Vista. I’ve seen many incredible initiatives emerge from our team, but few capture the spirit of gratitude and empowerment quite like this one. Our Housekeeper Bounty Program through BVGO is a fresh initiative from our Operations team, aimed at celebrating the silent heroes who keep our properties spotless and our guests delighted: the housekeepers.

Why We Started the Bounty Program

Hospitality isn’t just about guest reviews—it’s about the invisible work done every day to maintain quality. Our housekeepers (HKs) are on the frontlines, and it’s time their efforts got the spotlight they deserve. Marcel, our Former President of Operations, saw this gap and moved swiftly. Together with our Property Managers—Radit, Tendi, and Alfasya—they launched the HK Bounty Program to increase ownership, pride, and recognition among the housekeeping teams, especially in high-performing SUP (Spin Up Properties). The idea was simple: tie monthly incentives to clear performance outcomes, share the updates transparently through our internal newsletter, and allow everyone—from housekeepers to property owners—to see the impact.

From Announcement to Action: How The Bounty Took Off

The program was introduced via newsletter, and the response was instant. Partners were supportive. Housekeepers were energized. Our Property Managers did the essential groundwork, taking the time to explain the program one-on-one with HKs and ensuring clarity across the board. By March, we concluded the first round of bounty evaluations—and the results speak for themselves.

What Our Community Is Saying About the Bounty

The feedback from our property owners has been full of enthusiasm and support. Comments like “Mantap!” and “Love that!” reflect their appreciation for how the program reinforces quality and engagement on-site. It’s clear they see the value in recognizing the people behind daily operational excellence.

On the ground, our housekeepers have responded with even more heart. “Mantap! Bisa buat team housekeeper lebih bersemangat,” said Made Budiarta. Wayan Rai Utariyani shared, “Terima kasih Bukit Vista, jadi buat kita para housekeeper lebih semangat lagi 🙏.” Adi Kusuma added, “Terima kasih, semoga team tambah semangat. Sukses and semangat selalu – INSPIRE DELIGHT!” while Rambu noted, “Jadi housekeeper lebih semangat lagi. Terima kasih Team Bukit Vista.” This program isn’t just about monetary rewards—it’s a ripple of motivation, recognition, and respect that travels across teams.
