MYKAZA Expands Into Private Events and Celebrations in Canggu

CANGGU, Bali — MYKAZA, the signature restaurant at The Arc House Canggu, is expanding its offering to include private celebrations, corporate gatherings and bespoke events at its rooftop venue overlooking Canggu.

Known for combining Japanese culinary influences with Balinese flavours, the restaurant is positioning the rooftop as a flexible setting for weddings, birthdays, private dinners, company events and other intimate occasions.

Rather than operating as a conventional event venue, MYKAZA is offering organisers greater flexibility over how each gathering is structured, including dining formats, table arrangements, music, entertainment and styling.

“We’re excited for guests to discover MYKAZA as a place where festive celebrations feel personal, unexpected, and distinctly Balinese, with Japanese-inspired flavours and a rooftop setting overlooking Canggu,” said Gerardo Barrientos, F&B Director at Portier Hotels.

The venue can accommodate private groups of up to 60 guests.

Smaller gatherings can also be arranged, including a private tatami dining experience for six guests.

Dining packages can be adapted to suit different occasions, with options including sharing menus, set menus and customised event packages.

Food remains central to the concept.

MYKAZA’s menu includes dishes such as Babi Guling Dry Ramen, Japanese-Balinese sharing plates and matcha-based desserts, alongside cocktails incorporating local ingredients and Arak Bali.

For private events, menus can be adjusted to complement the format and tone of the occasion.

The rooftop space can also be configured for different settings, from relaxed daytime gatherings to evening celebrations with cocktails, music and entertainment.

The move forms part of MYKAZA’s wider effort to establish itself as more than a dining venue, with the restaurant also continuing regular experiences such as its Rise & Shine Breakfast and monthly Sunday Brunch, held on the final Sunday of each month from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Barrientos said the aim is to bring together food, hospitality, music and private celebrations within one venue.

“MYKAZA is evolving into a destination where Japanese-Balinese cuisine, creative cocktails, music, and beautifully curated private celebrations come together under one rooftop,” he said.

The expanded private-event offering is aimed at guests looking for a more informal and personalised alternative to traditional event venues in Canggu.
